🚴 Why Choose the DM Road/Gravel Chainring for Garbaruk?

Running Garbaruk's Road/Gravel crankset? Then you'll want to pair it with this beauty for an unbeatable combination of weight savings, drivetrain precision and sleek aesthetics.

Precision CNC-machined from 7075-T651 aluminium alloy, the Garbaruk DM Road/Gravel chainring is featherlight but impressively robust. The narrow-wide tooth profile keeps your chain secure across the full range of the cassette, while chamfered edges and an optimised mud gap work together to prevent buildup, even in the gnarliest conditions.

Whether you’re a dedicated roadie craving smooth cadence at speed or a gravel adventurer powering through unpredictable terrain, this chainring gives you the confidence to ride harder, faster and further. If you're serious about efficiency, reliability and ride quality, it's the finishing touch your drivetrain deserves.

Features

  • Enhanced Chain Retention: Optimised tooth profile and variable thicknesses prevent chain drops, reducing the risk of frame damage
  • Ultra-Lightweight & Strong: Crafted from high-strength 7075-T651 aluminium alloy, providing an ideal balance of weight savings and durability
  • Exceptional Power Transfer: Precision CNC machining ensures a perfect fit, maximising efficiency with every pedal stroke
  • Efficient Mud Shedding: Chamfered edges and a wide mud gap prevent buildup, maintaining performance in all conditions
  • Made in Poland: CNC-machined at Garbaruk HQ for ultimate quality control

Pro Bike Mechanic’s Tip

To maintain optimal shifting performance, keep the chainring teeth clean and free of grit, especially after muddy rides. A quick wipe-down after a mucky day on the trails goes a long way when it comes to performance and durability.

  • FAQs

Q: Is this chainring compatible with non-Garbaruk cranksets?
A: While the mounting pattern is the same as Cannondale and FSA, the offset is slightly different. This variance needs to be considered prior to purchase if you are looking to use this model on either FSA or Cannondale cranks.

Q: Can this crankset be run as a 2X?
A: Yes, via the use of Garbaruk's 2X Spider for Garbaruk Road/Gravel crankset. (Available by special order.)

Q: Can I use this chainring with a 12-speed drivetrain?
A: Yes, it is compatible with 9, 10, 11-speed chains, and 12-speed systems including SRAM MTB (Eagle & T-type), KMC, Shimano HG+, and SRAM AXS Flattop chains.

Q: How do I choose the right tooth count?
A: Select a tooth count based on your desired balance between speed and torque. Lower tooth counts offer easier climbing, while higher counts provide greater speed on flats. It may also be necessary to check your frame's maximum chain ring size specification.
