🚴Why Choose the Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Cage for SRAM 11/12-speed?
Looking to boost your SRAM drivetrain’s range without a full overhaul? The Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Cage for SRAM 11- and 12-speed systems is a precision-engineered upgrade that unlocks serious gearing potential with minimal effort.
By repositioning the jockey wheels, this cage allows your derailleur to accommodate larger cassettes — up to 50T on 11-speed and 52T on 12-speed setups. The result? A gear range that rivals 12-speed systems, even if you're running 11-speed. That means easier climbing, smoother power delivery on rough terrain, and a more versatile setup overall.
If you're worried about faffing around, don't be; there’s no need to replace your derailleur or shifter. Just swap out your standard cage for this one and go! It won't weigh you down, either: each cage is CNC-machined in Poland from lightweight, aircraft-grade 7075-T651 aluminium and weighs just 42 grams.
Whether you're chasing more range for bikepacking, trail riding or just steeper local climbs, Garbaruk’s design gives your drivetrain room to breathe. For broader gearing without the cost or hassle of a full groupset upgrade, this derailleur cage is your shortcut to more capability.

FAQs
Q: Is the Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Cage for SRAM compatible with both SRAM 11- and 12-speed systems?
A: Yes! It’s designed for the full range of SRAM 11/12-speed derailleurs, making it suitable for riders on both systems.
Q: Will this cage work with my SRAM GX Eagle AXS derailleur?
A: Yes! The cage is fully compatible with SRAM AXS 12-speed rear derailleurs including GX, X01, and XX1 models.
Q: Can I use the Garbaruk SRAM Rear Derailleur Cage on a road derailleur?
A: Absolutely. It’s compatible with SRAM road derailleurs like Apex 1, Force 1, and Rival 1, as well as MTB models.
Q: Does this cage work with a 52T cassette?
A: Yes, but only on SRAM 12-speed setups. If you’re running 11-speed, you’ll be able to go up to a 50T cassette.
Q: Is the Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Cage for SRAM compatible with SRAM mechanical and AXS derailleurs?
A: Yes. It works with both mechanical and electronic SRAM Eagle and road drivetrains, giving you loads of flexibility.
Q: Do I need new jockey wheels for my Garbaruk rear derailleur cage?
A: You can run a Garbaruk derailleur cage with your old, boring jockey wheels, but we recommend pairing them with Garbaruk's oversized pulleys
for three reasons: 1) it will give you the smoothest and most efficient shifting; 2) it will eliminate the gap between the regular jockey wheel and a Garbaruk cage, to reduce the risk of debris (e.g. a stick) getting caught in between; 3) they look awesome.
