Ergon SR Pro Saddle - High-Performance Comfort, Pressure-Free Performance

Engineered for speed and comfort, the Ergon SR Pro Saddle blends lightweight performance with a pressure-relieving design tailored to men’s anatomy. Ride longer, feel better.

🚴 Why Choose the Ergon SR Pro Saddle?

The Ergon SR Pro Men’s Saddle isn’t just another road seat — it’s the result of deep anatomical research, precision German engineering and an unapologetic focus on rider comfort. Whether you're climbing long road passes, sprinting through crits or cruising your local loop, the SR Pro saddle keeps you pain-free and supported so you can focus on power and flow, not constantly readjusting your position.

Created for cyclists who want to go faster without sacrificing health or enjoyment, this saddle supports both performance and wellbeing with zero compromises. Designed around the specific needs of the male pelvis, the SR Pro uses a strategically shaped relief channel, OrthoCell pressure-distribution pads and a supportive Y-shaped profile to eliminate numbness, reduce friction and boost freedom of movement. Its lightweight carbon composite shell and TiNox rails make it stiff yet forgiving, while anti-friction flanks and a raised rear ramp let you stay locked into position during intense efforts.

If you’re a serious road rider tired of discomfort and numbness, the Ergon SR Pro offers a clear reason to upgrade. Comfort, performance, support — it’s all here.

Features

  • Men’s-Specific Relief: Central relief channel prevents perineal pressure, boosting long-ride comfort
  • Optimised Pressure Zones: OrthoCell inlays reduce numbness and improve pelvic support
  • Y-Shape Design: Narrow front and flat surface allow freedom of movement and leg clearance
  • Orthopaedic Foam: High-rebound material dampens vibrations while maintaining structure
  • Rear Ramp Support: Raised back keeps you braced during hard pedalling efforts
  • Friction-Reducing Flanks: Anti-friction sides prevent chafing and allow for smoother pedal strokes
  • QuickClick Mount: Integrated Topeak-compatible mount for saddlebag attachment
  • Multiple Sizes Available: Fit options match your sit bone width and preferred riding position

Pro Bike Mechanic’s Tip

If you're switching to the SR Pro from a different saddle, give yourself a few rides to adjust — your sit bones need time to settle into the new shape. Your body will thank you later.

FAQs

Q: Can I use the Ergon SR Pro saddle on my gravel or MTB bike?
A: You sure can. Though optimised for road, its pressure-relief design and high-quality materials also make it an excellent choice for gravel and XC-style MTB riding. However, we’d also recommend checking out Ergon’s Allroad gravel saddle as well as the Ergon SM Comp and SM Pro MTB saddles, which are designed for those disciplines.

Q: Is the Ergon SR Pro Saddle compatible with e-bikes?
A: Yes. While it’s built for road performance, its shape and mounting rails make it suitable for any bike, including e-road or e-gravel setups.

Q: How do I choose the right size for my sit bones?
A: Ergon recommends selecting your saddle based on your sit bone width. The S/M is best for sit bones from 9cm to 12cm, whereas the M/L will suit those with sit bones measuring 12cm to 16cm. Ergon also have an online saddle selector if you want to really dial it in.
