This seat post clamp is precision-machined from 6061 aluminium, paired with a stainless steel barrel nut and steel collar bolt and washer for a clamping setup that's built to be tightened once and forgotten about. (Unless you're admiring its aesthetic, of course.)

Seat collar sizing is based on your frame's seat tube outside diameter, not your seatpost diameter. Grab a set of calipers and measure the actual outside diameter of your seat tube before ordering, or check your frame manufacturer's spec sheet. This is one measurement you definitely want to get right.

FAQs
Is this the same as a seat post clamp?
Yes. Phil Wood calls it a "Seatpost Collar," but it does the same job as any seat post clamp or seat clamp: securing your seatpost at the correct height, and making sure it stays there.
How do I know what size I need?
Measure the outside diameter of your frame's seat tube (not your seatpost) with a set of calipers. We currently stock the 31.8mm size. If you're not sure what you need, check your frame manufacturer's spec sheet or get in touch and we'll help you work it out.
Will it fit my carbon frame?
In most cases, yes, but always measure the actual outside diameter rather than assuming it matches your seatpost size.
Can I get a colour or size that's not listed?
Yes. Phil Wood offers this collar in a wider range of diameters and colours than we keep in stock. Get in touch and we'll arrange a special order.
