A: If your bike runs an SRAM 11-speed MTB drivetrain with an XD freehub, yes! Road riders with SRAM XDR freehubs will need the Garbaruk Cassette Spacer.
Q: Do I need a special derailleur cage to run this Garbaruk cassette?
A: The 10-46T cassette works with standard SRAM 11-speed MTB derailleurs, but you can also pair it with a Garbaruk SRAM derailleur cage to improve the shifting and chain stability. For 10-50T, you will need the Garbaruk SRAM derailleur cage
for proper shifting performance. For use with Apex 1, Rival 1 or Force 1, the Garbaruk SRAM derailleur cage is required.
Q: What chain should I use with this Garbaruk cassette?
A: While the cassette is technically compatible with most standard 11-speed chains (except KMC and YBN chains), Garbaruk recommend running it with SRAM chains.
Q: Is this cassette compatible with Shimano derailleurs?
A: Surprisingly, yes! While designed for SRAM 11-speed drivetrains, it can be used with a Shimano 11-speed MTB derailleur.
Q: Do I need any special tools to install a Garbaruk SRAM cassette?
