Your rotor lockring is a tiny part with a big job, so you want to make sure it's up to the job. Machined in California, the White Industries Center Lock Lockring locks your rotor down and finishes your wheel build with a pop of colour.

It's made to pair with White Industries CLD hubs, but it also works with other brands of centre-lock hub. Note: these lockrings are sold individually, so make sure to order one for each wheel.

Every White Industries lockring is machined, polished, anodised and engraved under one roof at their Petaluma workshop in California. The logos are machine-engraved rather than laser-etched, which is the kind of detail that keeps looking good after years of riding.
This lockring is made from 6061-T6 aluminium with a knurled outer edge for grip, and comes with a stainless steel washer. At just 9g, it adds almost no weight to your wheel, and the colour range lets you match your hub, headset, seat collar or the rest of your White Industries parts.
The internally splined design also sits neatly inside the rotor. That's handy on particular fork designs where an externally splined lockring doesn't have enough clearance.

Fit the steel washer, then tighten the lockring to 40Nm with a 12-spline tool such as the Park Tool FR-5.2. This lockring is only for Center Lock rotors, so it won't work with 6-bolt hubs. It's not a cassette lockring either, despite looking similar.

FAQs
What's the difference between internal and external spline lockrings?
The tool fits inside an internally splined lockring, and around the outside of an externally splined one. Which you need depends on your hub axle and fork. This is the internal version, which works on 12mm thru-axle hubs, including our White Industries CLD front and rear hubs. If you're running a 15mm thru axle or a quick-release front hub, get in touch before ordering, as those need an externally splined lockring.
Does this fit my hub?
It fits Center Lock disc hubs, including White Industries CLD, CLD+ Boost and C157 hubs and many other brands. It doesn't fit 6-bolt hubs.
What tool do I need?
A 12-spline lockring tool, such as the Park Tool FR-5.2. The lockring should be tightened to 40Nm.
Do I need one for each wheel?
Yes. They're sold individually, so you'll need two for a wheelset.
Can I use it as a cassette lockring?
No, it's not designed for cassettes.
Can I get a different colour?
Yes. Just get in touch and we'll arrange a special order.

This webshop is focused on online retail. If you're in Adelaide, however, we run a separate workshop (Bio-Mechanics Cycles & Repairs). You're welcome to book in via that site to get components installed or your bike serviced.
